PPTA wants transgender changing rooms

The PPTA denies it is making a mountain out of a mole hill by supporting a call for more rights for transgender school kids.

A Human Rights Commission report has called for schools to provide separate changing rooms, so all children feel comfortable.

PPTA President Robin Duff says while the average school would not have any transgender kids, it is not about the numbers. He says it is about raising awareness.

Mr Duff says we need to give transgender children the right to dress, or undress, in separate areas.
