OUTLine has found new premises, in the heart of Ponsonby.
The GLBT phone
counselling service is moving into the Pompellier Centre in Three Lamps, on
Monday 12 July.
OUTLine has been
temporarily based at the New Zealand Aids Foundation's head office, after the
head lease at its longtime premises in downtown Auckland was suddenly
terminated a month ago.
Chairman Peter
Martin says although the new offices are much smaller there are big
improvements in access, as it's on the Link bus route, parking and facilities.
Martin is
thinking the New Zealand Aids Foundation and executive director Rachael Le
Mesurier for providing OUTLine with temporary accommodation and storage over
the last month.
"Their staff have, without exception, been very welcoming and
generous hosts. We had our recent AGM there and also our last board meeting -
they have been wonderful," he says.
Transgender
support group GenderBridge is also moving to the new premises.
The new address
for GenderBridge and OUTLine from Monday 12 July will be: Pompellier
Centre Suite 5, 3 Cowan St, Three Lamps, Ponsonby. See
