Fine after private parts cool off

Christchurch transsexual fined $250 for hitching up dress exposing private
parts on hot day

The day may have been too hot for underwear, but not wearing them has cost a
Christchurch transsexual a $250 fine.

Benji Charles Rangi has the breasts of a woman but still retains his most
masculine feature, which was causing offence to passengers on a bus on
Colombo Street.

He was wearing a dress which he kept hitching up.

Police were called and when he was apprehended, Rangi continued to raise his
dress, resulting in his arrest for indecent exposure.

When asked why he had no underwear on, Rangi replied the day was too hot.
