Hi
I have just returned from a visit to Otahuhu Kiwi bank branch and am feeling very disappointed and upset by my experience.
I went to
enquire about a credit card transaction and was told by a very officious teller
named Pasami that I would have to phone. When I explained that I am deaf
she became hostile, accused me of lying and repeatedly told me I was not
listening.
She
eventually produced the required forms after telling me repeatedly that she
didn't have them and completed them with the utmost bad grace, all the time
yelling at me that I was not listening
This is not the first time I have encountered an attitude problem from this person, if I had the means I would go to another branch.
I think this sort of behavior is not acceptable by a member of Kiwi bank staff and this time I wish to pursue the discrimination side of this matter.
Can you advise me of the proper channels to make an official complaint.
