I have now heard back from dept of consumer affairs who advise me that I have a case but that I would be better taking it before the human rights commission.

I am prepared to do this but also want to give you every chance to resolve this issue as this is wasting time and resources which could be better spent on other issues.

All I wanted was an apology from the person concerned for the disgraceful way I was treated.

Failing this I am prepared to take this to the human rights commission and to the media.

A have just applied for legal aid and have already prepared press releases. Apart from compensation for the shocking way I was treated I will also be seeking expenses for having to travel to Manukau City or Auckland branch of DSE. As I mentioned in previous correspondence I am a regular customer but until this matter is resolved I do not feel comfortable in the local branch

If you choose to ignore this letter as you did the last one (24/11/02) I shall proceed in 28 days from now.
